Salone del Mobile
2010: winning a bet
|
IL SALONE! Year after year
anticipation continues to grow
for
the most enjoyable and, at
the same
time, most demanding appointment
of the furniture industry calendar.
Despite difficult times, we had more
faith in the event than
ever before.
|
|
We dedicated a lot of energy to the
Salone exhibition, in all senses of
the
word, and, yet again, ended up
with a
positive balance with all of
our efforts
and determination being
rewarded.
We would like to thank
all those who,
like us, believed
in the event.

The latest products previewed in Milan captured
the public's attention with their aesthetics, strong
personality and array of colours; in reality there
is
much more to them! New materials, new technology
used to produce shapes, new finishings.
|
Features that perhaps go unnoticed at first glance
but that
actually represent the pure creativeness behind tables,
chairs, upholstered accessories…
and above all really
show Bonaldo's ever present dedication to research.

Design illuminates Fashion |
|
For the 2010 Salone del Mobile exhibition, Seventy
and
Bonaldo joined forces to create a winning team
combining
fashion and design. For the duration
ofthe Design Week,
Milan's Seventy store (Via
Manzoni 46)
hosted a number
of Bonaldo previews.
The store window
had a strong
visual impact: a garden
boasting a natural
lawn and
illuminated 'Tree Light'
coat stands in the
form of stylized
trees, which framed

and women. collections for both men and women.
The space also
contained other furniture accessories
including: the Babel
bookshelf and Tree Light coat
stand designed by Mario
Mazzer, the Pebble
occasional table by Matthias Demacker,
the Mr Hide
small table with four poufs created by Max Piva
and
the ICosi small table by Afroditi Krassa.

QR Code & Facebook: new ways to stay in touch
QR Code, or Quick Response. Created in Japan in 1994 primarily for industrial use, QR Codes contain more
information than bar codes in a tenth of the space. Today, QR Codes represent a state of the art tool for mobile
phone
communication. For the Salone exhibition, Bonaldo QR Codes included in a number of sales channels
granted
exclusive previews of the new products being presented.
